My rearing has taken me from rudimental drumming, through classical, rock, and jazz to the intricacies of Latin drumming. \u00a0The growth offered me unique experiences\u00a0that include joy in accomplishment, tribulation and lessons learned from failure, and hope after loss. Belief in God the only creator and the source of any talent I possess\u00a0is\u00a0my\u00a0reason for immersion.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>The steps I\u2019m currently taking to hone my composition skills are in preparation to fuse my Jazz and Latin passions with my immigrant American heritage. \u00a0Not unlike most people of this nation.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>My immigrant ancestors passed down heartfelt stories of struggle, suppression, exploitation, and survival. \u00a0Stories of these experiences are\u00a0not typically published in American history or art.\u00a0 My desire is to tell these stories \u00a0much like my ancestors expressed through Spanish folk songs; revealing harsh truths of their struggles.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>With humility passed down by my ancestors, I hope to convey these truths through music using my gifts and lessons learned from dissonances.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>My admiration, respect, and gratitude extend to\u00a0all artists and listeners\u00a0that have and will grace my life.\u00a0 They have enabled valued growth and maturity.\u00a0\u00a0 They are my proof.\u00a0 As long as there are listeners and God is enabling, I\u2019ll keep creating music!&#8221;<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/34.197.240.17\/~dennisbu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/signature.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-7 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/34.197.240.17\/~dennisbu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/signature.png\" width=\"170\" height=\"25\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;I have a passion for helping others shine; It makes me smile!
